When deputies with the McCracken County Sheriff’s office knocked on the door to serve 58-year-old Cynthia Javor of Georgia Street with an order of eviction, someone inside the camper allegedly said they had a firearm and someone was going to get shot.
During the incident, a female exited the camper through a window. She told detectives that Javor had a pistol and was threatening to kill herself for not wanting to go back to jail. Later, Javor’s son exited the camper, where he told detectives his mother had several warrants for her arrest.
Shortly, she dropped the pistol, which turned out to be a pellet gun, out the window and then exited the camper through the front door. Javor was charged with two counts of unlawful imprisonment and several other outstanding charges and transferred to the McCracken County Jail.
