A wanted Princeton man in a stolen vehicle is on the run after fleeing from authorities Tuesday.
Deputies said they received a call about a suspicious person in a gray Kia Sorento at a business in Eddyville. Moments later dispatch reported a possible stolen vehicle from Princeton matching the same description and the driver was said to be armed with a gun. Deputies spotted the vehicle turning onto US 62 East bound from Main Street in Eddyville. White and an officer from the Eddyville Police Department attempted to stop the vehicle on US 62 near Gill Pike Road, but the driver fled into Caldwell County. The pursuit continued through Princeton and eventually into Hopkins County where Kentucky State Police Troopers attempted to deflate the vehicle’s tires without success. The pursuit was then terminated for safety concerns. The driver has been identified as 28-year-old Jason McGregor of Princeton. He is a wanted fugitive with multiple warrants for his arrest, including trafficking in a controlled substances and being a persistent felony offender.
Anyone with information on the location of the stolen vehicle or McGregor is asked to call 9-1-1.
McGregor was last seen wearing bib overalls, a white t-shirt, and sunglasses.
