Southeast Missouri State University Reveals New Planes for Aviation Program

Southeast Missouri State University recently unveiled three new Redhawk branded Cessna 172 airplanes on Saturday. Students who are in the program, officials and guests could to see the planes for the first time. University officials say this was a milestone in which it engages with the community and promotes economic development and the airport is going to benefit from the university’s program because there’s going to be students flying in and out, landing and taking off. This program will also contribute to the economic development of the region. The new program is a four-year program with most of the training taking place in the first couple of years. Classes started on Monday for this new program and it has over thirty students enrolled in it.
