Two Defendants Have Their Bonds Reduced

Bond was reduced for two McCracken County defendants on Thursday. Bradley Vallely’s bond was amended from $5,000 cash to $5,000 cash or 10 percent equivalent. He faces wanton endangerment and multiple drug charges from May 14, when a neighbor on Epperson Road told McCracken Sheriff’s Deputies that a small child was on his property. Detectives say they entered the nearby home and found Vallely asleep. He reportedly claimed the child’s mother had left the home but hadn’t told him the child was still there. A search of the home reportedly uncovered meth, ecstasy pills, marijuana, psychedelic mushrooms, other pills, and drug paraphernalia. The bond for Kiante D. Vaughn was amended from $10,000 cash to $10,000 cash or 50 percent equivalent. He was taken into custody June 11 following a shooting incident at an apartment on Roell Circle on June 4. Paducah Police found Vaughn and another man had been shot, and they were treated for their injuries. Police say a search of the apartment led to discovery of a handgun and a rifle under a mattress, and both weapons had been reported stolen. Detectives believe Vaughn hid the guns after the shooting. He faces charges of possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and receiving stolen property.
