The Cape Girardeau Area Chamber of Commerce President and CEO   confirmed today that he will be retiring from his leadership role after three decades. The date for John Mehner’s last day in his current position hasn’t been determined as of yet. The Cape Girardeau Area Chamber of Commerce is currently putting plans together to honor his retirement, which could be released soon. He has been president and Chief Executive Officer of the Cape Girardeau Area Chamber of Commerce since 1993. Board Chair Aaron Panton will be leading a team to search for the next president.
