The Williamson County Sheriff’s Office Receive Grant Funding to Buy New Squad Cars
The Harrison – Bruce Foundation recently awarded the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office a grant to buy three new fully equipped squad cars. Officials say the department’s fleet is currently aging fast and have several with over 100,000 miles on them. This grant will relieve the burden and let the department update some of the aging fleet of vehicles. They also say the new grant funding will allow the department to respond to calls in a much more efficient and safe manner. This grant will allow the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office to purchase three new 2021 Ford Explorers. They are hoping to have them in service sometime in late July of this year.
