Wearing Face Coverings is Now Optional at Saxony Lutheran High School

Wearing a mask is now completely optional for all students at Saxony Lutheran High School. Officials say they had decided made the decision to relax its mask policy Friday. Officials say they haven’t had a student quarantined for COVID since the spring semester began. They also say because the numbers are so low in Cape, they just felt like now was the time to make it optional. If the statistics change and things go up, they told students they would go back to wearing them. But from now to the end of the year they decided to go optional on masks. That was effective starting Friday. The school had previously y been requiring students to only wear masks in the lunch line, in between classes or in the commons area, but had made wearing masks in the classroom and option to the students.
