During last week’s election, local voters in Minor easily passed a new sales tax that will assist in adding funds to the city. This is the latest in positive things happening for Miner. Local voters also approved the sales tax by a vote of 71 to 41 and it will assist with funding for the police department city administration and general operating cost of the city. In addition, the city also bought a new John Deere tractor and a snow plow truck. Officials say they are excited about an overnight camping ground coming to the city and the board is working together to get things done.
