Deadly Crashes in Missouri Have Increased by Eight Percent

Officials with the Missouri State Highway Patrol say deadly crash are up eight percent statewide. The department reported 34 deadly crashes month-to-date and 217 crashes year-to-date. That’s compared to the same period in 2020 when there were 22 deadly crashes month-to-date and 200 year-to-date. Police say speed and distracted driving are the top contributors in these crashes.
