CAPE GIRARDEAU PUBLIC LIBRARY BRINGS FREE WIFI TO CITY’S PUBLIC PARKS

The Cape Girardeau PublicLibrary recently partnered with the Cityof Cape Girardeau’s Parks and Recreation department to bring free WiFi access to the city’s public parks. This opportunity was made possible by a Coronavirus Relief Funds Broadband Funding for Distance Learning and Telehealth in LibrariesGrant from the Missouri Departmentof Economic Development and the Missouri State Library. WiFi access points have been installed in severalof the city’s public parks, including: ShawneePark, Indian Park, Capaha Park, Arena Park, KiwanisPark, Ranney Park, and Washington Park.These access points are available for anyone to usefree of charge, and no library card is required for use.
