It was determined their injuries were from the fire and were not considered suspicious. Crews were called to a building fire on First Street on Wednesday morning, March 10. This was south of Delta off of Route P in Scott County. The house was called a total loss. A vehicle also appeared to be destroyed. An investigator with the State Fire Marshal’s Office arrived on scene shortly after 7:30 a.m. The sound of the fire taking over the home woke up Robert Driskill, who lives across the street. He described the flames as reaching the top of evergreen trees in the yard.
