Southeast’s Harrison College of Business and Computing Maintains Prestigious AACSB Business Accreditation

The Donald L. Harrison College of Business and Computing (HCBC) at Southeast Missouri State University has been reaccredited by AACSB International – the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. Established in 1916, AACSB is the world’s largest business education alliance, connecting educators, learners, and business to create the next generation of great leaders. For more than a century, AACSB accreditation has been synonymous with the highest standards in business education. In Missouri just over 20 percent of institutions offering an associate’s or higher degree in business have met AACSB’s accreditation standards. Worldwide, a total of 882 institutions across 57 countries and territories have earned AACSB accreditation in business. HCBC was commended by AASCB for its collaborative culture and engagement between faculty, students, staff and the community, and its review highlighted the College and University’s programs. In fall 2020, HCBC had 1,657 undergraduates majoring in accounting, marketing, management, international business, economics, finance, business administration, healthcare administration and hospitality management. Also, in fall 2020, the College had 126 graduate students enrolled in the MBA program and the Master of Science in Management.The College offers courses in a variety of platforms, including face to face, Web and blended, and in a variety of timeframes, including 16-week, eight-week, six-week and four-week. The College had 229 undergraduates and 88 graduate students pursuing online business degrees in fall 2020.
