After a calendar year unlike any other, officials at Southeast Missouri State University plan to bring more students back to the classroom this fall. Officials say classrooms will hold normal capacity just as they did prior to the pandemic and their plans for the upcoming fall semester are to try to go back to as much of normal as possible. Officials say they are taking that optimistic approach which is going to hold true. During the COVID 19 pandemic members of the university’s facilities management rearranged seating to meet the six feet social distancing requirement so classroom capacity is different across campus. Officials say the university s rolling out the plan now because class registration starts in April. Officials say their plan could change between now and the current semester.
