Starting on Monday, the Jackson County Courthouse will be open to members of the general public each week day from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Because of the decrease in the number of active COVID-19 cases, officials in Jackson County determined that it is in the best interest of employees of the county and the rest of the general public that the public hours of operation be resumed. Face masks are required to come into the courthouse and the Jackson County Courts are still open. Most hearings are being held through zoom and   all individuals who have upcoming cases should have gotten a notice letting them know how to access the virtual courtroom.
