Three Rivers College nursing students assist in historic COVID-19 vaccination event

Twenty-two fourth-semester Three Rivers College nursing students and eight faculty members participated in Missouri’s first mass COVID-19 vaccination event on January 22, 2021. Three Rivers College was requested by the Butler County Health Department and Missouri National Guard to assist in the event. The Director of Public Safety, Chuck Stratton, and Department Chair for Nursing and Allied Health, Dr. Staci Foster, worked together to prepare to assist with the massive event. The Three Rivers College Nursing program will be on hand to assist with events scheduled for February 5 in Pemiscot County and again on February 12 in Butler County For those who would like to become a registered nurse, two deadlines are approaching at Three Rivers College. The application deadlines for the Associate of Applied Science in Nursing Day Program (RN) and the Evening LPN-RN Bridge Program are both March 1.
