Man Sentenced to 84 Years in Prison for Role in Shooting

Philipps (Jackson, MO), Zone 4, Pulaski/Maries Counties.The man convicted of attempted murder in connection to a 2019 shooting outside of Tres Hombres, in Carbondale, has been sentenced to prison. Jody Pullen, Jr., 28, of Carbondale, was sentenced to a total of 84 years for attempt first-degree murder, multiple counts of aggravated battery with a firearm, and aggravated discharge of a firearm. Discharge of a firearm. Pullen was sitting in the store’s drive-thru when an argument ensued. He then pulled a gun and started firing multiple shots.Four people were injured, including two innocent bystanders that were sitting in the beer garden at Tres Hombres.
