A theft investigation led to three felony arrests in Calloway County Monday. On Saturday, the Calloway County Sheriff’s Office took a report of a stolen red Ford Ranger truck from a home on Cypress Trail in New Concord. Deputies located the truck Sunday night on Highway 121 South near New Concord. The driver, 41-year-old Kelly Morton of New Concord, was arrested and charged with theft by unlawful taking automobile over $500, forgery and various traffic related offenses. Deputies said Morton also had an outstanding warrant for burglary in reference to a Murray Police Department investigation. Morton was lodged in the Calloway County Jail. On Monday, deputies obtained a search warrant for Morton’s home on Saddle Lane, where more items stolen during the vehicle theft, as well as methamphetamine and various items of drug paraphernalia were found. Two residents of the home were taken into custody. Forty-eight-year-old Daniel “Shane” Arrington and 27-year-old Holly R. Crosno were arrested and each charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Both were lodged in the Calloway County Jail.
