Driver and Three Passengers Injured After Police Chase in Marshall County

A teen flees from deputies before crashing the car they were driving, causing injuries to all inside the vehicle. Police say it happened on Saturday, November 28th at 10 p.m. That’s where deputies first spotted the car in the Briensburg area going more than 83 miles per hour. The driver of the black Mustgang failed to stop for deputies and then sped away even faster. Authorities then caught up with the teen while on Big Bear Highway where the driver nearly hit one the of the deputies head-on. While trying to get away from the deputies again, the 17-year-old took a curve too fast causing the Mustang to go off the road and overturn.The teen driver, who is from Hazel in Calloway County, went to the hospital for their injuries. All three teen passengers in the car also had injuries from the crash. hey are facing several charges including speeding 26 mph or greater over the speed limit, operating a motor vehicle under the influence, fleeing or evading police, reckless driving.
