Southeast Missouri State University Is Preparing to Send Their Students Home for the Holliday Season

This time next week all students at Southeast Missouri State University will be on Thanksgiving break, but all of the undergraduate students will not return to campus until January. Each student will conclude the current semester in a remote learning format. Over the summer season university administrators made the decision that the final day of on campus instruction for the fall semester will be on Tuesday. The spring semester is scheduled to start on January 25, 2021 and there won’t be any in-person learning until then. University officials say around ninety classes since August have been offering classes, which can be taken in other formats and not simply in-person and officials define this as a hyflex approach. This number is expected to rise to 100 percent by the time students come back to school in January.
