The Trump Administration and the .U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Rural Development recently announced that the USDA is investing a total of $2,666,876 to the Public Water Supply and Sewerage District No. 4 of Wayne and Butler Counties The district will make advancements to their water treatment and distribution system and this will benefit over 1,800 users. USDA is providing the Public Water Supply and Sewerage District No. 4 of Wayne and Butler Counties a loan that is worth a total of $1,430,000 along with a $1,236,876 grant that is through the Water and Waste Disposal Loan and Grant Program. The current water system is having excessive water losses causing frequent boil orders for customers. In order to serve their customers more efficiently, district officials will make repairs or replace inefficiencies in the water system and enrich any equipment that is currently out of date. The improvements that district officials are planning include, replacing meter supply lines, fixing g main line leaks and fixing g check valve issues among others.
