Southeast Missouri State Establishes New Scholarship

The Paul and Melba Wilson Casey Endowed Scholarship was recently established at Southeast Missouri State University through the Southeast Missouri State University Foundation on behalf of  Melba Wilson Casey of Cape Girardeau, and the members of her family. This newly established scholarship is renewable and it will be awarded to a full-time student at the university, who is a resident of Wayne, Butler or Pemiscot County and has a financial need for the scholarship. Members of the university’s Scholarship Committee will decide which student will receive the scholarship, but the first preference will be awarded to graduates of Greenville High School in Greenville, Missouri, or South Pemiscot High School in Steele, Missouri and the other preference will be awarded to students who are to receive a degree in the educational field.
