Southeast Missouri State University Recognized as One of the Best Universities in the Region

Southeast Missouri State University was recently recognized as one of the best regional universities in the region by The Princeton Review. The education services company listed Southeast Missouri State University in the Best in the Midwest section of their 2021 Best Colleges: Region by Region” website feature which is posted at https://www.princetonreview.com/bestMWcolleges. Southeast is one of 158 schools and one of just five public institutions in the state a Best in the Midwest school. The Princeton Review recognizes a total of 655 colleges which it recommends over five regions: Northeast, Southeast, Midwest, West and International. University officials say they are very pleased that Southeast has once again been recognized by The Princeton Review as one of the best institutions in the region and this reaffirms and enhances their commitment as a high-quality, multicultural, innovative and flexible university focused on the success and career-ready skills of their students. The Princeton Review survey asks students to rate their institutions on several of issues and to respond to questions about themselves, other students, and their campus life. Students commend the university small class sizes, one on one attention, among other things. The University’s education, business, nursing and performing arts programs were recognized because of their high quality as were the textbook rental and scholarship programs
