Southeast Missouri State University Partners cargo to Create New App

Southeast Missouri State University is partnering with carGO to create SEMO on the GO, which is a new food delivery and ride share app. The new app lets users order their food in advance or request delivery from any participating restaurant. In addition, ride share services are also available. Possible upcoming features include the option to either request delivery or order in advance from dining venues on the Southeast Missouri State campus. University officials say through this feature, university students who are hired by carGO could be placed on campus in order to make deliveries quickly and efficiently. Officials say the app has the additional benefit of allowing users to socially distance from the busy dining facilities on the university’s campus and a part of the sales brought in by this app will be shared by carGO with the university to support student programs in the near future.
