Man Arrested for Role in Shooting

A Paducah man has been arrested in connection with a shooting that left one person dead and four others injured. Myree Marshall, 47, of Paducah, was taken into custody Friday for his role in a shooting August 8 in the 900 block of Boyd Street. Police say  Marshall was one of the men firing a handgun that night and was responsible for injuring two women. Police say Marshall fled the area, but with the help of U.S. Marshals, was arrested Friday in Lexington, Kentucky. Marshall is charged with two counts of first-degree assault, first-degree wanton endangerment and possession of a handgun by a convicted felon.The investigation into the shooting in ongoing. Paducah Police say more charges are expected.
