A recent study of the state’s public school districts recently graded a Cape Girardeau County school district as the best school to receive an equitable education in Missouri. The results of this study came out last week and they were revealed by the personal finance website, WalletHub. This study graded the Jackson School District as the number one school district in the state when it comes to providing an equitable education to their student body. In addition, the study graded the Perry County School District in Perryville as Missouri’s third-most equitable district and the Cape Girardeau public school system was graded as the 204th best school in providing an equitable education out of a total of 516 schools across the state. Recognition as the most equitable school district in the state means that the Jackson R-2 School District currently provides a quality education regardless of a family’s financial well being, officials say.
