Three People Arrested After Drug Trafficking Investigation

Three men are in custody in connection to a shooting that left two women dead and injured seven others. The three suspects were identified as 20 year-old, Antonio Marcus Johnson, 21 year-old Deantrell Damon Beard and 20 year-old Tyshonne Lamar Williams. All three men were charged with two counts of first-degree murder, seven counts of first-degree assault, nine counts of armed criminal action and unlawful use of a weapon. They all remain in custody at the Mississippi County Jail. Officials say this was an ongoing feud involving illegal narcotics sales and gang activity. They said while the party was held at the home on Plantation, they have no reason to believe the homeowners had any involvement with the illegal activities. The investigation is ongoing. The Southeast Missouri Major Case Squad was activated in the investigation. Anyone with information is asked to call Sikeston DPS at 573-471-4711. Around 1:46 a.m. on Sunday, June 7, police received a call of a noise complaint coming from a party in the 900 block of Plantation. Witnesses say shortly after police left the area, a vehicle drove by the party, fired multiple shots and then fled the scene. Seven victims were injured and were treated for non-life threatening injuries. Two other victims were killed in the shooting. Officials say 31-year-old Kimyata Haynes, of Charleston, died at the scene. The second victim, 20-year-old Faquazia Wilson, of Charleston, died at an area hospital while being treated.
