Parks and Recreation to Open to Public in Jackson

As the summer season draws even closer, city officials in Jackson have announced that they will be reopening ball fields, pools and other recreational facilities. Recreational events and programs will start on Monday throughout the entire city. City officials say they have planned music events and will start the city’s baseball and softball leagues. Officials say, due to the increased interest attendance is projected to be larger at the park’s upcoming events. Most of the city’s parks and recreation facilities have been closed since April 3 because of the COVID 19 Pandemic.  City officials invite as many members of the public to take part in the upcoming activities.
