Missouri Department of Conservation Cancels Programs Through June

Because of the concerns of the coronavirus continuing to grow Missouri Department of Conservation officials have confirmed they have extended their cancellation of programs and events at nature centers and other department locations for the entire month of June. In order to help continue to connect citizens with nature the Missouri Department of Conservation will be offering more of their nature-focused programs through online formats. Officials say the online formats will make it more convenient and comfortable for individuals to take part in the events that are being offered from wherever they may be. The programs that the department will be offering can be found on their website at mdc.mo.gov/events-s3. The programs that are being offered will be added when they become available. Those who take part in the program will have to register online and will be emailed a program survey and other information following the event. The programs will last for a half-hour or less and participants will be able to ask questions on the web.
