Charleston Man Killed in Saturday Shooting

A Charleston man was killed and a woman was injured in a shooting on Saturday morning. Police say at about 10 a.m. officers received a call of gun shots in the area of South Elm Street. They discovered a vehicle at the intersection of Elm and Ironbanks with two people inside that had been shot. The driver of the vehicle was identified as Antonio Bogan, 36, of Charleston, was pronounced dead at the scene and a 51 year-old female who was a passenger in the vehicle was air-lifted to an area hospital for medical treatment and is expected to survive. The investigation is ongoing and there are no suspects in custody at this time. Anyone with any information is urged to contact Charleston DPS at (573) 683-3737.
