Kentucky Healthcare Providers to be provided $372 Million in Coronavirus Relief

.Around 542 rural healthcare providers in the state will receive a total of $372 million in federal aid to go towards coronavirus pandemic response. The federal funding was made available on behalf of the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security (CARES) Act. Officials say every rural hospital will receive at least $1 million of these funds. Rural health clinics and community health centers in the state will each receive at least $100,000 to assist them in being able to keep operations going and be beneficial to the communities they serve.
