The Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services has reported that Missouri saw an increase of 368 cases of the coronavirus on Monday and six deaths, giving the state a total of 8,754 positive cases and 358 deaths. Since Friday afternoon, Missouri has had an increase of 919 positive cases. There have been over 91,000 tests given in the state. Health officials in Scott County have reported 75 positive cases as of Monday afternoon. A total of twenty-five cases are currently active. Of those positive cases, there have been two deaths. Currently there are a total of eleven cases of the coronavirus in New Madrid County only two cases are currently active. There are currently twenty-nine positive cases in Mississippi County of the coronavirus. Health officials say every case is from the Southeast Correctional Center. Health officials say there are currently forty active cases of the coronavirus in Pemiscot County the county and twenty-two cases remain active. Two of the cases remain in the hospital and three have died.
