Beginning on Wednesday the Cape Girardeau Public Library will start offering drive-thru hold pickup services. Even though the library is currently closed the drive-thru window will be open from 12 to 6.p.m. on week days for those who wish to pick up items they have placed on hold. Holds can be placed through the library’s online catalog or by contacting the library over the phone. Items that are currently checked out will not be due back until the first of June. Residents who want to return their items can do so by using the convenient drop off located in the library parking lot. The services that are currently being offered could change based on changing recommendations at the local and state levels of government.
