Kentucky to be provided $1.7 billion in Virus Relief

The state of Kentucky will receive a total of $1.7 billion in in coronavirus federal relief aid under the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act. Officials say the state will be able to use these funds for a wide range of COVID 19 related expenses. The relief money can go towards providing COVID-19 testing and hospital treatment, Acquiring personal protective equipment and other supplies for medical professionals and first responders and paying healthcare, public safety and public health professionals responding to the coronavirus, among other areas.
