Almost Four Million Dollars in Coronavirus Relief Awarded to Kentucky Hospitals

Almost $4 million in federal funds from the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act will be given to 46 rural hospitals across the state of Kentucky. The funding will be put towards assisting state hospitals in paying for expenses related to the coronavirus. These expenses include testing, clinical services and equipment. The federal funding can also be used for the financial and workforce challenges related to the pandemic. The Kentucky Office of Rural Health (KORH) will give out the funds to hospitals throughout the state.
