Portageville City Official Extend Stay at Home Order

Portageville city officials have extended the Stay at Home Order in the city until May 4, 2020. During the most recent Board of Aldermen meeting the Board gave their approval to the ordinance. The ordinance was put in place to slow the spread of the coronavirus within the city and a radius of five miles outside the city. The extended Stay at Home order requires all residents to remain at their residence unless they are performing essential services. If anyone does leave their home they are required to obey social distancing guidelines. Every non-essential business within city limits that want to reopen their doors following the required guidelines has to contact City Hall before the business can do so. All businesses must sign a form and displayed in their business.
