Police Arrest to Murder Suspects near Charleston

A police officer in Charleston was able detain two people wanted in a Mississippi murder case after recognizing the suspect’s vehicle on Saturday in Mississippi County. Police say an officer overheard radio traffic giving a vehicle description of murder suspects from Mississippi. The officer saw the vehicle and stopped it at the 11-mile marker on Interstate 57. The two murder suspects were identified as 29 year-old Frederick Sims and 27 year-old Lateisha Sims. Both murder suspects were residents of Indianapolis and they were taken into custody on murder warrants.  Police say, both suspects were placed in jail and later turned over to the Southhaven, Mississippi, Police Department.
