City of Paducah Creates New Webpage

Residents in Paducah who are interested in making connections with other residents throughout the city while working from home during the coronavirus outbreak can now do so. The city has started a Remote Workers website. Residents will be able to find information about resume writing, remote job opportunities, in-demand skills for remote jobs and a virtual job fair on the website. The virtual job fair will be held on Thursday. Anyone who wants to take part will have to obtain a Flexjobs membership to participate. City officials believe remote working could be a good option for many residents who reside in the region. Paducah city officials started the website through a partnership with the Paducah Area Chamber of Commerce, Paducah/McCracken County NAACP, West Kentucky Community & Technical College, and West Kentucky Workforce Board to launch the new website.
