St. Francis Healthcare Officials Start Virus Hotline

Officials with St. Francis Healthcare are doing their part to take action against the coronavirus by creating a Nurse Coronavirus hotline. Nurses are ready to take any questions residents may have in relation to the outbreak and if necessary they can also provide next steps and screening. The hotline will be in operation Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm. The hotline number to call is 573-331-4200. They will extend hours and days as needed. The screening questions can also be completed online at sfmc.net/COVID19qanda. St. Francis Healthcare officials are also working on a Coronavirus Test Collection Center through a partnership with Cape Girardeau city officials. The partnership includes Cape Girardeau County Public Health and SoutheastHEALTH., and other public officials. Hospital officials have also closed the first, fifth, sixth, seventh, and ninth entrances to the hospital. In addition every patient who is currently being kept in the hospital can only have two visitors for the entirety of their stay and anyone who is under the age of twelve will not be allowed to visit.
