Ameren Missouri to Provide Customers with a Million Dollars in Energy Assistance Due to Outbreak

Officials with Ameren Missouri recently created a new energy assistance program through a partnership they have with the United Way of the Greater St.Louis area. The program currently offers $500,000 in income relief energy assistance funds for customers the company serves in the state. The new program was started to offer help to employees in a variety of businesses like restaurants, daycare facilities, retail stores and other organizations. Those who are currant customers are able to apply for $250 towards a payment on their account.  Applications have to be turned in through the United Way’s website. The program runs from March 19-May 19, while funds are available.
