City of Jackson Enforcing Community Safety during Outbreak

City officials in Jackson are taking additional steps to keep the community safe. Jackson City Hall is currently open and officials are continuing to provide regular services like permits, business license applications among other services. Jackson City Hall underwent a deep cleaning on Monday and city crews will continue to clean during the next few weeks. The City Collectors office will continue normal operations, but customers are asked to make use of the drive-through lanes at City Hall, the online bill pay option, or call them in order to limit the number of visitors in the office. City officials are making plans to leverage technology along with the city’s phone system so businesses can still be reach throughout the city. The Parks & Recreation and the Jackson Civic Center will remain in operation and employees will still conduct usual business. All the rentals for events that will have fifty or more people are canceled until further notice.
