Illinois governor recently announced that every restaurant and bar in Illinois to be closed starting Monday night. State officials are currently working losely with restaurant owners and food delivery services to ensure kitchens can safely remain open to continue food delivery and put in place drive-thru and curbside pickup options for restaurants to continue to serve the public. These facilities will remain closed for the remainder of the month in order to prevent the further spread of COVID-19. Officials with the Illinois Department of Health have confirmed that 29 new coronavirus cases, bringing the state’s total to 93. None of the new cases have been reported in Southern Illinois.
