St. Francis Taking Extra Precautions to Prevent Virus Spread

Saint Francis Healthcare Systems is currently taking actions to protect their patients, staff members and volunteers against the coronivirus. For the time being only two visitors will be permitted per patient and no one under the age of twelve will be allowed. Every visitor will be screened upon every entry into the medical center. No one will be permitted for adult ICU and isolation patients. Officials say some entrances will stay open and others will be closed. Screenings will take place at all open entrances for all individuals. Signs are posted directing patients to open entrances. The hospital will start screening every staff member and guest when they come into the medical center. Currently, volunteers will no longer be on-campus until further notice. In addition officials also suspended valet services. Hospital officials say they have checked all personal protective equipment supplies and increased central equipment supplies.
