Suspect Responsible for Seven Burglary Cases in Western Kentucky Arrested

A man police say is responsible for several Calloway and Marshall County burglaries has been arrested. Police say a deputy responded last week to a report of a burglary in progress on Flint Road. The homeowner noticed the blinds in his front window moving. As he was walking to the front door he saw a man walking from the back of his home. The homeowner confronted the man and went back to his vehicle to retrieve his cell phone. The suspect ran to a van that was parked on the road and fled the scene. Police found the van in Hazel. They also arrested 25-year-old Justin Cordes, of Hazel. He was served an arrest warrant and charged with 2nd degree burglary for the burglary on Flint Road. ordes was lodged in the Calloway County Jail.
