Tyson Chicken Gives Southeast Missouri Food Bank $50,000 Grant for Mobile Food Pantries

Officials with the Southeast Missouri Food Bank have confirmed that the Food Bank has received a $50,000 grant from Tyson Foods to be put towards the funding of mobile food pantries  in Stoddard, Scott and Dunklin Counties. The food bank is making plans to use the grant to provide funding for two dozen mobile food pantries from June until May of next year. The investment from Tyson Foods will assist in providing extra protein and fresh produce at each mobile food pantry. Part of the protein will consist of Tyson chicken.
