Crews Continue Search for Missing Woman Swept Away by Tennessee River

An Illinois woman was recently swept away by strong current in the Tennessee River near Calvert City. She was identified as d Brandy Osborne. She is 5′ 5″, 130 pounds, with red hair and blue eyes. She was last seen Friday evening wearing a pink hoodie, blue jeans, and rubber boots, walking into the water to meet a friend, when the current swept her away. Officials say that approximately 50 personnel from several agencies have conducted a search for the missing woman over the past two days. Multiple crews oats with sonars, drags, various K9 teams on and off the water, and also drones in the search for Osborne. Officials say they will continue to search for the missing woman as long as the resources are available. Search efforts were put on hold on Saturday because of flooded conditions, and for the safety of the search teams. At 8.a.m.  on Sunday morning crews continued the search, but the search was changed from a rescue to a recovery operation.
