Paducah Man Charged With Felony for Stealing Over $3,000 from Employer

A Paducah man was arrested Thursday for stealing money from a local restaurant where he was employed. The man was identified as 32-year-old Timothy Perkins. One of his fellow colleagues at the Steak’n Shake where he worked told police that more than $3,700 in deposits was missing Police interviewed Perkins Thursday afternoon, and he allegedly admitted taking the money. Perkins was charged with theft by unlawful taking (more than $500, but less than $10,000), which is a class D felony. He was taken to the McCracken County Jail.
