All Registered Voters to be Mailed New Card in Cape Girardeau County

Those who are registered to vote in Cape Girardeau County will receive new voter registration cards in the mail. Officials say this is in conjunction with canvassing the voter rolls as required by both Missouri and nationwide laws. Cards will be made to fit inside wallets and they are 5.5 by 8.5 inches. Residents, who don’t receive new Voter Identification Card and/or a voter guide by the beginning of February, should call the County Clerk’s Office The new card will have all registered voters names on them along with the address, polling place, precinct and the units of government in which you are able to vote. Officials are asking residents to check these details to make sure there are no errors. If an update is needed, residents are asked contact the County Clerk’s Office.
