Southern Illinois Man Sentenced to Five Years for Bomb Threats

An Elkville, Illinois man received a five year prison sentence for making false bomb threats too many locations in Canada. The man was identified as 37 year-old Justin R. Bagley. Bagley was sentenced on Thursday, November. 21,2019.  Along with his five years sentence in the Illinois Department of Corrections he is required to pay a $3,000 mandated fine and be under mandatory supervised release for an entire year. Police were   called on Saturday, February 9, 2019 from Taber Alberta, Canada in reference to 10 bomb threats they received at several locations in the city. The threats were made at locations including schools, a hospital, bank, police agency, and a store over a two day period. He was arrested and booked into the Jackson County Jail
