Local Businessman to Run for Senate House Seat in Next Year’s Election

A real estate agent and small business owner from Scott City will run for a State House seat in next year’s election. Will Perry will be running as a Republican against another Republican Canidate Jammie Burger, who was previously a democrat. Both candidates will be running for a House seat within the 148th District House. The seat both candidates are running for is currently occupied by Republican Holly Rehder, who is ineligible to seek another term due to term limits. Perry served in the Navy. He currently runs a small warehousing business and is also a member of the Southeast Missouri Board of Realtors. Burger served for a total of 18 years as a member of the county commission.
