SEMO Creates Institute with Focus on Cybervsecurity

Southeast Missouri State University is currently in the process of creating a new Institute for Cybervsecurity. University officials say, this will further research, education and service activities. University officials also say, students will have the opportunity for more hands-on experience and to create partnerships with government agencies and businesses. The university will launch the program this spring after the university’s board of Regents approves it. The NSA and US Department of Homeland Security r gave recognition to the university as a national center of academic excellence in cybervsecurity. The university now offers a Master of Science in the industry.
